We are looking for a freelance/contract fashion designer to help us with our Summer 2026 line. The scope of this project is as follows:

*Provide trend, fabric, and color direction for our brand for Summer 2026

*Propose updates to our best sellers or ways to tie our best sellers into the above direction via fabrication or colorway options

*Propose 5-8 new groups (3-6 styles per group) exploring new silhouettes

*Help propose cross-merchandising opportunities between groups

This is a contract part-time position for 2-3 months to begin with, with the potential to extend into future opportunities. This position will require periodic visits to our office in Van Nuys, CA so you must be based in Los Angeles or be willing to travel to our office as needed.

Who You Are:

*Fashion designer with 7+ years of experience in women's contemporary clothing

*Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator for both design sketches and flat technical sketches

*Must have an understanding of garment construction and cost engineering

*Must have relevant experience executing relevant trend research

*Experience with a start up brand is a plus

*Merchandising experience is a plus
